Last 2 Sessions

We are in the process of moving back to the states so this month has been crazy, but I have been able to get 2 sessions in in-between the packing, cleaning and moving into a hotel.  I'm excited I still have one more session before we head off to Illinois.

The first session was with Doug and Rachelle.  They are expecting a sweet little girl in August and I got to take maternity photos for them, we had a great time, here are a couple of my favorites.

The next session was with the S family.  Their son is 6 weeks old and I learned a lot from that session.  It was a challenge and a lot of fun.  Here are a few of my favorites.

The next session will take place tomorrow with one of my favorite families, who I will miss dearly when we leave.  Can't wait to take their pictures.

First Maternity Session

I was so excited to get to take maternity photos for Bren Martin, she is a sweet and wonderful person and a great friend.  Maternity photos are so much fun and to be able to go up to one of the castles here in the local area was great too.  Here are a couple of my favorites from the session.

Tried a new and different edit

Waiting for baby brother to arrive

More sessions to come before we depart Germany and head back to Scott AFB.

Little Cam Man

The weather here has been AWESOME and yesterday I had my first outdoor session.  It was so much fun!  Little Cameron is such a cutie, at first he would mean mug every time we asked him to smile, but after a couple of seconds he would give a nice smile.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Amelie is 1

This past weekend I had the blessing of taking little Amelie's 1 year old photos.  We had a blast!!  There were a couple of  outfit changes and well whats a One-Year-Old Session without the infamous cake smash.  She was such a fun little model to photograph even though we could get too many actual smiles out of her and I loved the new challenge to "shoot" someone other than my two boys.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.  Enjoy!

Last weekend

Taking photos last weekend turned out to be a complete bust.  I couldn't get my little one to sit still long enough to even get one photo off and then the sun hit the window at a bad time and I was unable to get any decent shots of hubby.  This week I will be taking a small break as I will be heading to Illinois to getting the ball rolling for us to buy our first house!!!  When I get back I will have a new person to "shoot".  I can't wait to share the photos from that session :-)

Here's another photo from one of the older sessions.

Some additional photos from previous weekends

This weekend is going to consist of some studying since I will be taking my promotion test on Monday....but that isn't going to stop me from working with my camera and of course two of my most favorite subjects (my husband and little man).  Once I get those edited I will get them posted, but until then here are a couple of my other favorites from previous weekends.

A little about me and what I do (both every day and as a photographer)

I have a passion and love for taking photos but other than my Facebook page I haven't really started my photos.  A great friend of mine recommended that I start a blog to share my photography work.  So here it goes....

I'm active duty military, a wife, a mother of one and a photographer.  I love to capture those little moments that everyone wants to cherish forever.  Over the last couple of weeks I have been taking studio style portraits of my son on the weekends.  He is so much fun to take photograph.....this is if I can get him to sit still long enough.  Here are a couple of my favorites.
Sweet smiles

He enjoys eating my camera lens caps
I'm looking forward to the month of March, I have several new opportunities to get more practice coming up. So far I know I have a One Year Old session (looking forward to doing a cake smash for that one) and a family session with a new family who just got here.
